The Brooks Tower is a 42 story residential building in downtown Denver, Colorado, United States. At the time of its construction in 1968, it was the tallest building in Denver, standing . In 2010, it is the thirteenth-largest building in Denver. It was also Denver's first high-rise residential building. Originally built as an apartment building, Brooks Tower was converted to condominia in the 1990s. History has an integral part of the buildings character. Brooks Tower has been featured in movies particularly in the horror/mystery genre of film. In the early 1960s a series of trapdoors and secret hallways were discovered and later closed. Today it provides housing for students attending nearby universities, business people, and families. Located in downtown Denver the location of Brooks Tower provides easy walking access to all accommodations one may need.
